The popular Youtubist and coach for Moonlight formerly known as ProChara has updated his username across Youtube, Bluesky, and Facebook to "RetiredChara".
Though he declined to comment on the change when asked by fans and The Scallop reporters, analysts speculate it is likely connected to his recent retirement from professional Splatoon.
We at The Scallop are unsure if this is related to rumoured incompatibility within Moonlight.
In a post to Facebook last month, Chara announced his retirement, saying "I have enough money now, I do not need to compete anymore." This came after several other professional Splatoon players had made similar posts stating that they too will step away from their careers in the lucrative eSport.

Since the unexplained rebranding, Chara has been streaming under the "Gardening" category on the Twitch livestreaming platform, leaving fans questioning the future of the content they can expect from the creator.

"I am not sure what to think about all this, I want to keep supporting Chara but I fear I may have to retire from watching his content," said a teary-eyed fan.
It is unknown how long this retirement is expected to last, but a competitive analyst for The Scallop predicts "He will be back by dinnertime."
