Sendou.ink Launches Controversial Team Analyzer Feature
Sendou.ink has added a brand new option to its website, the Sendou Team Analyser
This new feature lets users of the competitive Splatoon website select four Sendou profiles and uses the latest technology to analyse the compatibility of the players in a competitive setting.
The service takes into account a large number of different data points in order to determine the compatibility of the teams, a Sendou press release reveals. Although the metrics being used to calculate team compatibility are not explicitly stated, it is thought that it takes into account the user's age, skill level, weapon pool, zodiac sign, Meyers-Briggs personality type, and Bluesky follower count.
While some think it is a big step forward, others have concerns. One user of the new service had this to say:
"It told me and my team who have stuck together for 10 years are incompatible, and now we are going to disband, I just wish I had known sooner, honestly."
Sendou himself did not comment directly on how this could affect existing teams that the website deems incompatible. "The analyser doesn't lie," he said.
"Be careful who you trust."
